In accordance with our environmental policy, we carry out eco-friendly operations to use resources correctly and efficiently from the supply chain to the end product stage within the scope of our activities by adopting conscious approaches to the environmental values. In order to reduce the wastes that may occur as a result of our activities and to ensure their reuse, we meticulously pursue the steps such as prevention of wastes at source, separation, recycling and reuse. We apply shredding process to waste products resulting from production in our facility, so we ensure that they are reintroduced to the industry. 

We always conduct efficiency-oriented, resource-saving studies in our activities as well as encouraging scientific methods with a high sense of responsibility towards the environment.

We paved the way for the wastes to be collected in the recycling bins placed in our facilities and took the step of separating them according to their types and transporting them to licensed plants for recycling, and thus, we started the necessary studies for obtaining the "Zero Waste Certificate" issued by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.

In order to reduce energy consumption, we implement awareness-raising activities and ensure that our personnel are informed this direction. We regularly monitor actions aimed at savings through our Energy Saving Committee.

As Polipa, we commenced our project aimed at supplying a certain amount of our electricity consumption from solar energy panels installed on the factory roof area acting with the principle of benefiting to the environment and society. As part of this project, we aim to contribute to the environment equivalent to approximately 26.869 trees by preventing 1.459 tons of carbon emissions in 1 year starting from 2023. 

We prioritize energy efficiency criteria in products and services to be purchased, new design and investment choices in order to enhance and sustain energy efficiency.

In order to reduce emissions, we optimize the routes of the shuttle vehicles used for the transportation of our staff, ensure the efficient and effective transportation of our employees with the least possible number of vehicles, and organize transportation operations in a way that reduces the number of transfers. In addition, we are also working to reduce the packaging materials used during transportation.
