This year, Polipa has taken its place at the 6th edition of AgroPack, the International Food and Beverage Processing, Packaging, and Additives - Agriculture and Livestock Fair. AgroPack, held in Erbil, Iraq, has been serving in the field of packaging for 4 years under the name Plast Iraq. While creating the value chain at Plast Iraq, we focus on plastic raw materials and effective machinery and equipment in the plastic production process. In this journey we embarked on as Polipa, we were delighted to welcome customers at our booth, strengthen relationships, and present our new products to them.

Between 2015 and 2022, Iraq’s imports of food and beverage process and packaging technology increased with an annual growth rate of 15.5%, from €76m to €209m.

This rise has made Iraq the third-largest Arab importing country in the Middle East in a similar category. An increase in this ratio is expected in the coming years. The prevailing trend in Iraq is expected to increase local food production with the phrase 'Made-in Iraq.' Due to these data, significant investments are being made in process and packaging equipment.

In 2023, with a population of 46 million, Iraq has become one of the three largest food markets in the Arab world, following Egypt for a long time and sharing an equal position with Algeria.

In this journey that we started with SoFuar, we are delighted to say that our innovative products at Agropack have been shared with our customers. Their interest in our products, which are designed according to their specific needs and come in round, square, triangle, and rectangular shapes, has honored us at Polipa.

With the positive feedback we have received on our social media accounts and our product catalog, we are bidding farewell to Iraq for now. At Polipa, we participated in this fair with our international market expertise, and we are acting in line with the information we have gathered from our customers.
