What is Solar Energy?

This is achieved through the use of molten salts capable of storing heat.
Potential of Solar Energy
Turkey's solar energy potential exceeds fossil energy sources by more than 10,000 times. The solar energy potential, equivalent to the entire surface of the world, is 50 times the known coal reserves and 800 times the known petrol reserves. By the end of 2014, global electricity generation from solar energy had reached a level of 117 GW.
